NSW Government Supports Investing For Good

The NSW Department of Finance Services and Innovation is supporting the launch of the inaugural I4G Pitch event challenge on behalf of the National Council of Social Services (NCOSS).

The Pitch event challenge is a part of the Innovation Launch program and the Social Innovation Council’s objective to foster innovation in the NGO sector.

The I4G (Investing For Good) Pitch event will provide two social service organisations with $50,000 grant funding and bespoke capacity building support to develop a business idea and explore pathways to financial sustainability and social investment.

It will take place on Wednesday 8 November, showcasing six outstanding social service organisations from across NSW who will pitch their ideas with the aim of securing one of the two grants on offer. Attracting government, philanthropists, investors and social service organisations, the event is also a great opportunity to network and learn more about social investment and the changing funding landscape.

The I4G Pitch aims to co-create an optimal ecosystem for social investment, raise awareness about impact investing, develop capacity in the sector and showcase outstanding organisations (as well as helping them to further extend their delivery of high impact services to communities).

Applications to participate in the I4G Pitch close Friday, 29th September 2017.
