After consulting with the NSW innovation community, Government launched its Innovation Strategy on November 30, 2016.

The 2016 Innovation Strategy

In 2016 we released a bold plan on how we were going to innovate in NSW Government. We had big ideas for NSW Government to become a leader in innovation, encourage and influence research and development, plan for the skills of the future and have NSW be a home for entrepreneurs

Since then, we’ve made a lot of changes and achieved a lot of great outcomes.

Here’s a list of all the things we’ve achieved through the 2016 NSW Government Innovation Strategy

But our work isn’t done yet. There are still skilled people in our government eager to deliver more good outcomes for citizens. Just a few of the things we’re working on are listed here

Future

Now, the NSW Government is looking to the future and where we need to focus next to our 2020 strategy. We’re in the early stages but if you’re interested in our progress, you can sign up for updates by clicking here
